Came across this piece of 2mm thick gold anodized aluminium, and it almost looks like wood grain

This is how it all began, as with most of the others I have built.
Get some inspiration

Get some parts and see how they fit
Make some more parts
Work out pneumatic circuit

Put it all together
It is 700mm(27.5") long.
The barrel is 10mmOD 6mmID stainless steel, 500mm(19.5") long, 800mm (31.5")with extension.
Chamber is 1" Stainless Sch40, 250mm (10") long.
Weight is 11.2Lbs (5Kg)
Main valve is a 5/2 1/2" port air pilot, control valve is 5/2 1/8" port air pilot, trigger valve is 3/2 #10/32 push button momentary spring return.
This magazine tube holds 50 airsoft BBs, I will be trying it with steel BBs as well.

Finally got the video done, not very exciting as it all happens inside. Used a 20 round short magazine, have a 40 and a 50 as well. I can see why some people like the bullpup style, with the barrel extension on it is perfectly balanced at the grip, really nice to shoot from the sholder. Pleased with how this one turned out

Hi, i've just been looking at your FAR2017 again, do you have your main and air chambers connected?

Yes, mainly to increase the volume, I use it with the air supply always connected but only through a 4mm airline, so it tops up the chamber between shots.

Ah awesome...but your using a pilot valve, qev would be no difference?

Hi F1...have been reading your thread again, and noticed with your 1" chamber you said you split it into 2..?
What does that do?

Ah sorry, I thought that was what you meant before. I just wanted to get as much air onboard as I could. At least 4X barrel volume. The feed line from the compressor is 4mm OD Polyurethane which is so small you hardly know it's there, BUT it has very low flow so it is mainly there to top up the onboard chamber between shots. Originally it was going to look like this

Nice thanks.
I noticed your feed lines, do they handle the pressure ok?
Feed lines would be great to eliminate attachments between the trigger and the qev, etc.

Everything except the PVC chambers are standard pneumatic components, valves, fittings & tubing, I think they are rated at 120psi, I'm using 135psi so I guess there is a good safety factor anyway.
