Mac 11 semi-scale

I'm about to finish this little project of a replica; (almost), an Ingram mac 11, weapon that I love, is basically a fun toy to use.
You could say it is "horribly beautiful" :)
I have not fully tested it, because I had some problems to solve. It is low pressure, (about 60 psi), so as not to deform the 5.5 mm lead spherical ammunition, which is what triggers and which are recovered.
It works in semiautomatic and automatic mode. In automatic mode it expels the 45 ammunition that the magazine has, in 2 seconds, or less, since only the ammunition moves, from the charger to the firing tube being the continuous firing air. The system is like a bottle machine gun. For this reason it spends a lot of air. It is to shoot at close range, so this is not a problem because it shoots connected to the compressor. It is built in thin fiberglass. I have manufactured the silencer, to have that aesthetic view that I like.It has a trigger switch and can fire one at a time.
When I finish it, I'm going to film the test. I leave some pictures of how it looks in the present.

Hey. Is there a picture or diagram of this machine gun? Scheme of the mechanics.

The 2 way valve determines the firing mode, semi-automatic -
automatic.
When the valve is closed, the sealing bolt is in retracted position,
as seen in the diagram. The air does not pass to him by "E". The ammunition can go unimpeded,
from the loader to the firing cannon. The bolt of the firing gun is
permanently open because the air enters continuously through "A", in the direction of "B" and "C", move the pneumatic actuator 1, while holding down the trigger and open the Trigger valve.

When you open the 2 way valve, (semi automatic firing selection), by pressing the trigger, the bolt seals the loader, by the action of the air passing through "E", to the pneumatic actuator 2, and only one ammo passes, (painted orange). Each time the trigger is pressed, The pneumatic actuator 1 also opens simultaneously, but only one ammunition passes.

Ammunition is propelled against the force of gravity,
by an air drain, "D" having regulated pressure, by the pressure regulator, (about 0.5 bar).
This path is independent of the one that drives the trigger valve,
and is continuously under pressure after opening the tank valve
Main air of the motor-compressor.
With this it is enough for the 45 .22 lead balls, to ascend
towards the firing cannon. The charger is tightly closed. :)

I've said it once and I'll say it again, HECTOR ERES UN FENOMENO!!!

:D

Fantastic work, especially the selector!

Hi Jack! Thanks for the compliment. Coming from you who know everything about these issues, it's double! :)

Nice to see the shutter bolt working, I had the same idea a year ago, had the piston and made a block but never did anything with it.

Oh yeah. It is one way of many possible to make simple weapons, type airsoft, with the two common modes of shooting. I'm thinking of building another replica, but I do not decide which one to make. I like all !

The MP5 is cute ... I was thinking about an AK 47, maybe ...

More space in the AK47 for stuff

Yes, it makes it much easier to install the mechanical elements when there is more space. Actually I was thinking about installing the other design I have for this type of low power compressed air replicas because you can adjust the frequency of the shots in automatic mode. Is this, remember?
Regulated properly, it should have the same shooting speed of an AK 47. About 10 shots per second. That interests me. 8)
In this system, the one I used in the MAC-11, can not. Shoot madly. The system with trigger frequency control has as a disadvantage that it is more complicated and has more elements.
It happens that I have it finished and working but I have not installed it in any weapon ... I want to do it.
