Does anyone know if an airsoft or rc battery or something closer to them will work with this solonoid ?
I want to try to make a blowback system like Alexgyver did her...................................

It looks like he's using 3 18650's in series so I would go ahead and wager most 3S RC batteries could do the job.

Thanks man, I'll be sure to check out a 3s rc battery and hopefully I'll finally manage to finally pull off a blowback system ; )
