My Portable Gun Idea

So, basically, you have three tanks hooked to one filling port. You fill up all three tanks at once, then seal them all off individually. Once one gives out, you go to another, and so on. The valve up front is for a safety. The handle in front is a piece of wood attached to the blowgun, so you just push it forward to fire. I was planning to use this setup mostly for a marble gun or and airsoft gun. I would probably need to make a few modifications, but that is my basic idea.

Try using a better valve than a blowgun valve! Even on a marble gun, the performance will be horrible!

so how is this portable?you still need to carry around 3tanks instead of one, a co2 tank with reg would be easier.
my new PB gun esign of two 1kg fire extiguishers carried on your back is easier as well.
edit:and there would be some dead space after you use up the first tank.

Now that I think of it, yea, I should use a wayyyyyyyyy better valve than a blowgun. I am aware the there would be dead space, I would simply turn off the valve to the depleted tank before opening another so that air wouldn't rush inside from the new tank. The space between the shoulder rest and the tanks is where you put your arm through, so that the weight rests on your shoulder. However, I think that your idea of putting them on your back is better.

I wanted to make it so that I can carry a LOT of air with me, and not have to fill up all the time, as auto guns tend to do. (Srry forgot to mention that part.)

I was going to use it like a portable air compressor tank. (Without the compressor of course.)

Then you just need a 7 gallon carry tank.

wouldn't it be cheaper to just make one out of steel pipe?

It is a 7 gallon steel tank filled with any air source for remote air-power, (think air chisels/wrenches/etc.).

Yes, if you want to get the same volume of a carry tank, you would need 127 inches of 4" steel pipe. Not cheap at all...
