Anyone ever heard of or made a clip fed vortex BBMG?

If not, I'll be the first to have made one, owing to the idea that popped into my head as I was blasting the crap out of a soda can with my vortex SMG. I was tired of unscrewing the back and dumping 'em in, so I decided to make a vortex BBMG that would be clip fed. Right now I have all the parts, I just tore apart the SMG, I'm using it as the frame and body (don't worry, all the Bondo is GONE). I'll be posting it probably within a month when I finish building it.

Will it be an air tank or electric pump powered?

It will run off an air compressor or regulated CO2, like any BBMG.

I'll try to get a couple up. Right now I'm working on making the clips; I already have the main assembly for the clip feed set up.

Let me just get this straight, its going to be clip fed as in M1 Garand style or magazine fed, like the M16, Ak47, etc? Because clip-feeding seems like it would be difficult to construct.

Clip
Magazine

Actually, clips wouldn't be a terribly bad idea, but they would offer a pretty low capacity, at least in any situation that I am thinking of. Still, it is an entertaining thought.

Magazines would be easier.

You should just use hoppers like in a paintball gun, but just carry aorund a few so you can just pop more on...... thats how i do it anway..... anyway, if youre thinking more of a spring fed clip get an airosft HIcap magazine and modify it to put the bb's up into the barrel......

Why would a clip be spring fed?

YOu should make it so when the clip runs out, the air stops flowing, to not waste air. also, get some ballitics gellatin (the real stuff, not over-hard jello) and test this thing out on it some time. it might be fun to have a strafer in an airsoft war as artillery in a bunker....... just gun them down before they come too close. but if it will kill people...... no thanks

Clip, magazine, whatever.
It's magazine fed, although I might make a CLIP fed vortex pistol, since you made me think about it.

Twelve forum members just added you to their hit lists. Of those twelve, nine have hit lists with only your name on them.

29 years ago my uncle (god rest his soul), took me and sister to Florida (Disney world), and on the way back we stopped at baseball hall of fame. Well, there was a huge arcade there, and they had exactly that. Looked like a Tommy Gun with round clip powered by air. Shot like 100 bb's in just seconds, it was hard to hold still, i didn't win anything, but was really fun to shoot.

Sounds interesting, you planning on making it look like an existing firearm or something totally new? If it were me I’d make a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun.

Question:
What is a “hit list”?
