Nice, the 1377 is a nice gun, but is that a pistol scope on it? And more importantly, why’d you scope it??? It kills the look…
As for the knives, can you throw them? And how much were they?

So… how do you plan on shooting it?

As for the knives, how sharp are they? Do you have the means and the know how to keep ‘em sharp? Not saying you’re dumb, just a lot of the people I know wouldn’t know the difference between a wet stone and a fingernail file, let alone how to use one.

I know people like that, who are somehow dumb enough to sharpen knives with fine files. People like that don't deserve to have them.

Hummm… I guess that makes me dumb… I meant it the other way around, but then again I’ve also used my Arkansas stones to file my fingers nails… I guess it wasn’t a very good metaphor. But you know what I mean, right?

I had a older version of yours, paid 20 bucks for it, (that guy was hard up for cash). Mine was a 10 pump, is yours? I also got darts with mine 3 of them, 177 caliber fit like a glove. I learned how to throw knives when i was 12 years old, i let it slide out of my fingers, it flips over once, thats it, just once! Every time. I've never thrown a balanced knife before, i bet it's nice. We allways used our hunting knives.

You got a good deal!

Judgement_Arms, I have no clue what you said.
"Hummm… I guess that makes me dumb…"
That part means you've sharpened knives with files? Shame! What kind of files? I'm talking like, FILES, like the metalworking files used to get rid of the burrs on the inside of steel pipes.
"I meant it the other way around, but then again I’ve also used my Arkansas stones to file my fingers nails…"
Wait...what?

Yeah, the Gerber knife is pretty cool, I'd want one, but it's not one of those "need to have" type things.

Yes, I’ve used metal working files to sharpen knives, I hade to put an edge on a china knife on more than one occasion, that and when you make your own knives you need something a little more aggressive than a wet stone to put an edge on it.
What I meant was some people don’t know the difference between a wet stone and a finger nail file and so they use the wet stone to “do” there nails. But just because I used my Arkansas stone to file my nails doesn’t mean I’m dumb.

I thought you meant filing edges on actual knives, unlike homemade ones. I've made my own "knives" (more like prison shanks  ) and used a file to put the edge on, but that's pretty much the only way you can, so it's different.

No, I’ve actually used a file to put an edge on a knife that a friend of mine bought at the flea market, now that I think about it I’ve also used to put an edge on a machete, a throwing knife that the same friend got in a set of three at the mall, an old butcher’s knife that I used as a brush knife, and I think that’s about it.
If you know what your doing then you can sharpen any knife with a file, you just can’t get a very fine edge.

Well, you'd have to admit, it can't be a huge file, like one with 1/16" steel burrs, unless yo want a knife dull enough to not cut paper. :D

True, but I was taking about files not rasps. You said you’ve made knives before, what did you make them from ?
