There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.

p0oned nAti0n- I don't know what they would hurt the target more, since we don't talk about maliciously shooting any animate objects here.

Spudling- Looks nice! With the curve of the hose in the back, if you added a very stiff 1-1.5" hose over it, you may have a very comfortable shoulder niche.

We don't sue, we ban. There is no reason to shoot a frozen paintball at anything that can feel pain other than with malicious intent.

and, in contrary to current ideas, freeze a paintball will only freeze the shell, not the liquid inside.so you wouldn't even feel more pain, it would break so fast it would be like shooting paint without outer shell.

$5 says I can show you a paintball that is frozen solid ;)

Also, I have a feeling that lower grade paintballs will freeze better than the higher grade ones that all real paintballers use. The theory is that the paint (which is noticeably runnier) has less additives that are lowering the freezing point.

Depending on what is in the paint, a simple salted ice bath may do the trick.

If I do say so for myself, that thing is ugly. There's all those little pipes and hose running around all over, it looks like a half finished version of Kaneda's Strafer.
