Considering what it costs, it had better!
How powerful is your gun?
On a 3500psi fill of air it will give a good 30 shots at 28ft/lbs of muzzle energy (1 gram 0.22" pellet at 900 feet per second)

man i just can't stand high combs when I ever rent a gun I'll reject any thing with a high comb even if its their only avalible gun. but you like that option so its well customized for your standereds

It's a scope-only rifle without open sights, you need the high comb to get a proper "cheek weld" with the stock.

Not much hunting to do where I live but at these sort of power and accuracy levels such a rifle is good for anything up to coyote size if you use headshots only and keep your range to below 50 yards.
