Hey, I would like to know what rate of fire anyone has acheived with a cloud, or a vortex. .177 bbs per minute. I need to know what kind of numbers to reach or beat.
Thanks,
R. B.

I can not do video on my computer. Most of the pieces are 10 to 15 years old. Hell, it took me 2 hours to just get logged in today. It would be great if you could give me a rough gestimate though.
thanks

Per minute? No idea. Per second, usually 80-110, airsoft or .177, I just mix 'em up.

you can easily add another barrel to increase ROF but why would you want to actually beat the ridiculously high numbers already achieved? BBMGs are wasteful enough of ammunition as it is, you're better off finding a way to make each shot more powerful.

I don't mind wasting the bbs, but you are right, I want more power

umm if u want power u can use a smaller chamber than the usual 1 1/2 inch but there is a loss u cant hold as many bbs...but the smaller the chamber the more power

I'm ahead of the game on that. I make my guns with a 3/4 inch bb chamber that just screws on.

In that case, this is the design for you:
Zero dead space, maximum efficiency and the highest velocity you're going to get for a given pressure.

I made a BB backstop, out of a 5 gallon bucket and a crapload of bubble wrap. I only had 8000 BBs, so I didn't want to waste very many. After a couple months, I'm down to about 7200. And yes, having a pressurized chamber filled with BBs destroys anything extremely easily.

Well i dont know about my cloud but my paintball gun will shoot 27 per second.... so try and beat that first
