Ive been researching about vortex blocks recently, and i think i know a fair bit about it. Are you talking inline or full?

That's not inline, it's a normal one. An inline block does the same thing, but it's not in the T.

and it works better. as of the smaller vortex hole, there is less length for it to travel.

Not true, Mr.Russ. The first inline vortexes used the full hole, exactly the same as the original. I started using a little over half a hole, and it seems to work better. What you said is true, but just saying, not a lot of vortex guns use the half hole (3 to be exact, your's, and 2 of mine).

I honestly did not know that. I thought inlines only had like 1/2 to 3/4 of the hole.

could you make a vortex out of a straight piece or does it have to be a "T" shaped?

You just need a straight piece of pipe.

yes this is the goal of an inline you take a half of an inch material, (e.g. plexiglass, acrilic) You just cut a hole for the vortex then a hole for the barrel and input, same concept as t-type.
P.S.
Im pretty sure noname has a guide in the how-to section
