Hello one and all,
I have a question about the inline vortex that I am currently building.
How large should the chamber be?? I am presuming it should be 2" in diameter, but does it matter how long it is?? I want to make it longer than normal, do to the feed ramp that I am adding, so thanks
I will be building one like this, with that slanted feed ramp, you can see it in this pic. You can see that slanted thingy in the chamber, thats the feed ramp. So thanks for the info on the length of the chamber, I appreciate it.

Another job for "noname."
The standard chamber is a 2" T fitting but any thing with a similar volume should be fine.Following the design in the picture, i wouldnt make the chamber any longer, due to the fact that when your low on bbs the last few wont be able to reach the vortex block. Unless you have a very gradual ramp leading right up to the chamber. The shorter you make the chamber the easier it will be for bbs to use gravity to feed themselves.
EDIT: Beat me to it noname, before i finished my post!
EDIT:self noob moment* ok yeah i thought an in-line vortex block was refering to the way the block itself was constructed disregade the whole" 2" T fitting volume" idea

"The standard chamber is a 2" T fitting"
The point of an inline block is to eliminiate the T.
Before you finished your post?
It says I posted at 15:05, and you did at 15:12. Maybe you don't type too fast.

sooo would like a chamber 2 inches in diameter, and 14 inches long be good, because a lot of the chamber would be the feed ramp??
Or would 14 inches still be too long...it seems sort of long, so I might just cut it down to one foot long
EDIT: Hmm, looking at neospuds web page on the bbmg, it seems like it may be 9 inches...I'll do some volume measuring compared to a 2"T
