Hey guys, just got a question, anyone got any ideas on how to make an inline vortex alot more stronger. i was thinking more pressure, as in higher PSI, anything else i can use besides PVC to hold high pressure?

Remember that the chamber of an inline vortex typically is less than 30% of the pressure you're putting in from the blowgun.

I put a pressure gauge in my vortex block design (which has a tiny chamber), from an original pressure of 110 psi I didn't get more than 25 psi in the chamber. This is why I'm constantly bleating about my ball-valve strafer design:



That way, you get 100% of your compressor pressure driving the BBs if you´re feeding at a greater rate than you're losing through the barrel.

Ok, well i knida wanna keep to my design, an di dont have and air compressor, i have a chamber, that i pump up with a foot pump But yeah that'sprobebly the reason why, coz only 30% of the air is used.

Well, you asked for more power, with the design above I got over 200% more power per shot when compared to my vortex strafer

If you don't have a compressor then you should have an even better appreciation of how important it is to use the limited amound of air you have efficiently.

Yes that is true, but i like my inline with your design, does it still have a vortex block in it? (is it a normal or an inline block)

There's no need for any blocks, it's as simple as it looks. Chamber full of air and BBs, barrel, and a ball-valve in between.

You might have to make a ramp within the chamber though, to make sure the BBs are fed towards the ball-valve opening by gravity.

Probably but I doubt it.

There only bad if your shooting it upside down or bad a$$ cop style (sideways, i think it's cop style). It does use more air then a plunger would put jacks design sort of takes that problem away.
