well as i promised i am posting the pictures of the KWA KM4C Commando Electric Rifle found on sale for $2 (becuase they were broken). from i see it seems the problem is the pinion gear, on all 5 of the guns i bought. the metal motor shaft looks like it striped the inside of the gear and no longer provides grip. the solution is simple pull off the pinion, put a drop of CA glue (or jb weld if you feel like waiting) on the shaft and slide the gear back on. and isn't that amazing you have a airsoft gun worth around $50 and it only cost you $2 and an hour or two of work (pain in the ass to figure out how this thing comes apart) here are the picturesof the gun, sorry about the quality took them with a cellphone camera

I was going to ask why I couldn't find the $2 stuff. I have bought broken/junky guns in the past to use the stocks and grips on cannons. They add a lot of good looks and are cheap. Thanks for the link anyway because I'm always looking for more cheap broken airsoft guns.

well if you take out the gear box and disconnect the leads from the battery it works just fine. the firing selector and fire switch is incorporated in the gear box it self. it runs of a 6AA batteries (9v) im thinking about modding it to runoff a 9.6v rechargeable r/c car battery like i did to my mini. i bought 5 of these things and they all have the same problem, the broken pion gear it takes alot off work to tear these things apart but its worth it. now if you plan on using something other than the gun body i doubt the hi cap will feed right so you probably want to use an assisted gravity feed system.

guns specs
fire rate - 600-800 rpm
range - 30-40 ft
clip size - 200 round hi cap
adjustable hop up

test preformed with .2g bbs, this gun was designed for .12g bb i don't know the actual range

this gun has not been modified at all i am hopping to double its range and fire rate with a new spring and a better motor

I modded my KWA KM4c commando by cutting off the stock and removing the flashhider and sight. Now I use it as like a backup pistol and whatnot. Try putting a spacer for the spring, and a nozzle with a better seal to increase the gun's performance.

yeah, thats pretty cool. i know that i just had some fun with my mini last night. I:

isntalled a spring from a spring pistol that shot 350 FPS
installed a 9.6V, 2200 MAH RC car battery.....

all i can say is WOOOWW. i get ranges of 100 feet (with a mini) and i can rip cans to shreds.............

the ROF is too fast for the feed system tho........ ive gotta slap in a cheap hi-capacity magazine or something................

Yes the mechbox is a separate unit. You should try and import them as "r/c model parts" or something similar, it should go through customs easily if shipped without the barrel or shell.

i have what could quite possibly have the most heavily modded mini ever devised. its running off an r/c car battery just like your and has just recently been modified to accept g36c clips. don't use high caps the spring isn't powerful enough, use a mid cap or something. if your short on parts you can use my first successful idea basically it was a long tube the stuck straight up out of the gunand i had a metal rod in it pushing down on the bbs. i call it assisted gravity feeding, and it would consistently fire every shot
