can i hook up a blow gun to this? i have one already i just wanted to know.

if you cut of the end of the hose and find a hose barb that will fit in it you can pretty much adapt it to any threaded fitting you want

No you can't hook a blow gun up to that long string of letters and symbols...

And the answer is unfortunately no. (well I guess you could technically hook a blowgun up to it, but I don't think that's what you are actually asking.)
This thing would barely put out enough air for the chamber of a mini pneumatic let alone a BBMG. BBMG use up a ton of high pressure air very quickly. Like I mentioned in the other thread your only real option is a 5 gallon or more air compressor, and even that is a little bit on the small side.

ok then how much is a usual compressor at a pawn shop?

I was thinking about getting a compressor from a pawn shop when someone from this forum reminded me 'you have no clue how rusted the indide of that tank is' so im passing that on, go to harbor freight and get one, they are pretty inexpensive there.

Just get an 7 gallon airtank from a hardware store and pump[ it up with a bike pump.

The price can vary, they cost less than a compressor.
They already have a schrader on them, but you will only be able to pump to about 70psi with a bike pump and it will take a ton of effort to fill a 7 gallon tank.

Usually they come with a schrader valve on them. They usually include a short hose, but no snap hose coupling to attach different things like blowguns. They are around $15-$25.

You could make a vortex block out of all kinds of things. All you need is something with a round hole in it, and two holes. Wood like a 2x4 with a hole cut in it using a hole saw, a 2in long piece of pipe, just all kinds of things could be used. Use your imagination, that is half the fun of making spud guns. There are no set plans, you must come up with your own after taking into account the few general rules and suggestions that exist.

Or, you could always build a cloud.

As for your air problem, I have a simple solution. People throw out old 20lb propane tanks for gas grills. Well, you could unscrew the valve and replace it with a nipple, bushing, and then a tee that has a ball valve where your air line comes off. The regular valve doesnt flow very well (it may suffice for a BBMG though, and you could just use a nut from an old grill regulator to adapt it to 1/4NPT pipe threads). And then a shrader valve can be screwed into it. Fill it up with a bike pump or air compressor, maybe even one at a gas station if you have a few of these tanks. I think it's roughtly 5 gallons, but they can take well over 200PSI.
Or, if you had one of the newer tanks that accepts an acme nut (the newer, OPD tanks have it), you could just use propane gas as the air source, if you are outside away from sparks of course. It will be kinda expensive though, and I know I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

A CO2 bottle (like, 20lb bulk tank) with a regulator would probably be too expensive. New, they are well over $100, plus about that for a decent regulator that would actually work.

If you buy a compressor, don't bother with pawn shops. They may be in decent shape, but at least around here, stuff at a pawn shop costs almost as much as it would new.
