I'm thinking about making a small pistol (12 gram) powered. 1/2 in dia chamber, 1/4 dia barrel. I would attach the co2 with a adapter. Tell me what you think about it. any ideas for valves welcome.

Try using one of those 12 gram powered CO2 bike pumps or CO2 air dusters. They have built in valves and you can attach a barrel strait on to the CO2 duster or bike pump without the need for a chamber. Do not use unregulated CO2 if you build your gun with a chamber unless you knewit could hold up to the extremely high pressures it would undergo.

as long as you use steel then you should be fine using CO2, the maximum pressure that itll be at after dumping into a tank is around 700 psi
