Hello,

I just bought a Bic luminere lighter (only kind the store had) and cannot get the sucker open! I stabbed myself with a screwdriver trying to get it open, and I need some help. It sems like a stupid question, but the two halves just won't separate.

most bics are very hard to open. i had to post a thread on how to get the butane set up out of a bic lighter. for mine i cracked the long nose thing were the flame comes out. it popped out and i was able to get a better view at the seam. it is mostly put togehter internally and that makes it a pain to open. if i were you i would get a different brand lighter but thats just my opinion. and i still havent opened the lighter. this might help you.http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/help-ge ... t6807.html it was the thread i posted.

well I took it apart and it wont work, the butane tank is integrated with the piezo ignitor, and I broke a wire. :(

So I'll just have to go get a cheap regular long-nosed lighter I guess then
