I'm going to have to call shenanigans on that unless we get some hard proof. I don't seem to be able to accept that someone who appears to be unable to fix a broken 'Shift' key could afford a scuba compressor, you're gonna have to give some proof.
The fact that you referred to solder as 'solderin iron' also kinda gave it away.

sorry to gravedig this topic, but where do you find piping that small?? I'm making a different sorta mini, and I need piping like that, is there a special name for it that might help me search? I'm trying not to use McMaster because of their price hiking.

As above, usually in 1 metre lengths and not too expensive. If not you can find them online if you look hard enough.
Blah I bough two tubes a few weeks ago. Freaking 10 euro's per piece.not too expensive

Too bad for me, I finally go to albany and the hobby store has no telescoping tube left! Not ordering online due to absurd postage prices.
I agree, doubting the scuba compressor thing. Very expensive, high quality equipment that does not usually break. And if it did I'd be more annoyed than "my compressor worth a couple grand broke 15 mins ago lol"

He could've spent more time on the painting though.
The barrel also seems awfully short, not *that* lethal.

Enough to kill you at point blank range though, these things are usually used while pressed against the intended victim, exacerbating the injury with the propelling gases themselves.psycix wrote:He could've spent more time on the painting though.

I know, these things have been around for longer than I haveEven though your ideas are great jsr, that is whats known as a zipgun.
One of the reasons I haven't made a business out of my creations, too much liability.Anyways I hope that doesnt happen to me as i have sold a few penguns from time to time

I could very easily make one for less than $10 in terms of materials and negligible manufacturing time, and I'm sure people would be willing to pay $20 or more. The problem for selling it aside from the liability is there's the additional cost of the filling system.TwitchTheAussie wrote:I dunno JSR the liabilities wouldnt outweigh the money sometimes.

I still cannont achieve proper functionning of mine... Pumped it to 400 psi, but even your method for a piston (cutting if from a gasket) didn't work.
Edit : It does work, but....what a poor performance!!!! it isn't even loud!! XD

At least 50 bucks. Why? Because of the responsibility that comes with it.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:I could very easily make one for less than $10 in terms of materials and negligible manufacturing time, and I'm sure people would be willing to pay $20 or more. Don't sell (pneumatic) weapons to people who don't know anything about it. If it goes wrong, the trace leads back to you.
A high price means that people won't just buy it as a toy, but have to be really interested in the subject. (OR they are planning to do harm with it and need it for bad purposes)
