Spudfiles Mini "Can" Do Challenge

Miniature guns are novelty custom, unique, and sometime downright crude! Common construction materials often include pill bottles or pens. Show us your work!

I was using my 12.7mm mini combustion today and was very surprised at how much penetration it could achieve shooting at empty aluminium cans.
I had shot through 3 cans in a row before and i thought that 5 cans was optimistic, so i lined up six cans and opened a "can" of mini woopass on them.
It went clean through all six cans- i smiled a lot :D
I then filled a can with water and it nearly blew it in half.... (please try that)

Anyway i would like to put out a challenge to all you mini makers, (where mini starts and stops is up to the beholder, mine is about 270mls.)
How many cans can you shoot through with one round?
I know i can do more than six- i will post pics tommorrow of what a water filled can looks like after being shot with a 3 gram round and pics of said cans "shot in a row" :P

Edit: I forgot to mention that pneumatics are more than welcome, however this IS a comp for combustions ( so we can get some sort of usefull data)

The chamber i use is the white double chamber- it rocks

Here are some pics, the first is the dart i used (the blue one), second is the ENTRY damage of a can- this round passed through three cans filled with water and penetrated one side of the forth can.
Is this HydroDYNAMIC shock or what!
P.s. can anyone guess what makes uber light perfect fit high velocity ammo?- hint look behind the blue dart :)

Interesting... we get soda in glass or PET bottles here, the only stuff we get in cans is beer - I envisage a lot of drinking before I'll be able to line up enough cans to stop a BB from my burst disc :D

I might make a mini burst disk combustion, that should do the trick.

Depends on the wall thickness, I'd say at least 10 cans - probably filling them with water will keep the amount more reasonable.

you'd think the double chamber would cut off flow but it doesn't seem to affect performance much, interesting.

I think that water filled cans should be accepted in this challenge. :)
However if you can please try empties (dead soldiers).
And no shooting full beer cans, that would be sacrilicious>

E gads! Waste ye not ye olde liquide bread!

Given the power of most of the launchers on here, I think water-filled cans are a better gauge otherwise we'd end up with ridiculous numbers of cans. Divide the depth of water penetrated in two and you have the approximate penetration in living tissue - not that this information would be useful to anyone as we don't condone the shooting of living things, but for comparison purposes... ;D

Who does own the most powerful mini on here?
And while we are on the subject, where does everyone think that a "mini" should stop? (as in capacity)?
If i had to guess i would say a pint- that way they are "pint size".
I think a pint is about 470mls?.

E gads! Waste ye not ye olde liquide bread!
You should get prize for using "E gads" in a sentence.
Here's something to think about though: would shooting through beer be different than shooting through water because ofthe carbonation?

Who does own the most powerful mini on here?
If my hybrid counts as a mini, I might. There are a few handhelds of similar size that are about the same though. Can't remember the chamber volume, but I think it's around 500 ml

I think your sick ass Hybrid would or should be in a "Special" category.
This is for non- Hybridized Spud Chuckers :)
Please post pics of damage though
