Maxi-Mini Ghetto Gun

This is a gun mad from cardboard, a lighter, and a whole lot of duct tape. It can shoot ping-pong balls (weak) Super balls, and airsoft grenades.

Tell me if you like it, and other ammo ideas. (For a point of reference, the barrel is a reinforced toilet paper roll.)

You should try to re-create this very cannon out of PVC. It would be a lot stronger than cardboard and duct tape.

Do those "canisters" at the front hold ammo?

I know, I just haven't been able to get any pvc. Its not flimsy cardboard though, it two layers of shipping tube, but i know its hazardous.

Actually, it should be fine. There's not the excess oxygen in the chamber to ignite the cardboard.

In fact, in many ways, cardboard is a safer material - although there is the slight risk of it igniting (although if it does, there should be no difficulty in extinguishing it), it is completely immune to shattering. It may still rupture, but there is absolutely no chance of it breaking apart into shards, and certainly not pointy ones.

Now, as for the launcher, I can't exactly laud it's technical prowesses, but if it meets the 1st law of spudding...

It's mega ghetto, but safe and looks very fun.

Good job, but you could consider pvc for your next cannon. I always like (most) ghetto cannons but can never bring myself to make one. I don't know why.
