i havent made a mini in a very long time and i want to get into pen guns so i thought id start with a prototype.

main tube 1/2 inch copper.
caliber 6mm
piston machined nylon
valve schrader
pressure 250psi

it works pretty well and sends bbs flying rather nicely. i used jsr's method of using a drill bit to keep the barrel centered while the epoxy cured. i hope to make a few brass pen guns with lighter machined nylon pistons
thanks

Made use of my trigger idea, I see ;)

Looks good for a concept, I'm sure you can do a lot better.

Not a bad effort, did you put any rubber seals on the piston or is it just nylon against metal?

Nice effort :) though it looks like you could trim that excess epoxy off and the copper itself is begging to be polished. Does the nylon seal leak at all?

its just the nylon and is leak free as i smoothed out the back of the barrel for a perfect fit.

yeah i would do that but its just a protoype for smaller penguns. btw what is the best way to polish the copper?

You can use fine grit sandpaper...
