I apologise for suggesting to give up on this build..
It's sorta finished now and works quite well..
I put some functional hammers on there, with internal springs.
No triggers, sorry, just a triggerguard to complete the look.
My son loves it!
Just pull back one or two hammers and let go!
BANG!
I'll make my own version wich I will plan in advance later.
This was basically just thrown together as I went along.I hadn't given much thought on how to place the valve and triggersystem.
Still came out nice though.
I'll be adding a safety pop-off tomorrow so my kid won't push it too far and I plan on putting a small pump inbetween the shoulderstock.
The breechseal needs to be smoothened out and the hinge for the breakaction is to be glued in place...but that won't change the overall look and function so I guess it's ready:

OMG OMG
That's what I wanted to build but too lazy and busy to build two hammer valves.
I absolutely love it! Just looks like the old school double barrel shotgun from metro2033
How are the breeches locked?

A full throttle version that is.
The breeches are friction fit rubber to rubber, but a bit rough now.
I'll work on improving it.
The black block underneath the barrel is a snap-on brace wich locks the barrels in place.
Sweet! Shooting vids?
Lost my youtube channel including all vids a couple of weeks ago.
I closed some Google service and according to them the two were interconnected.
I had no idea.i contacted them but they can't recover it.
I'll start a new one sometime in the next few days.
I was happy the constant stream of e-mails had stopped-no more spudgun related questions by total newbs..or critique based on what people had heard their uncle or sister say after they had once read something vaguely scientific ...like...on the back of a soupcan....
PCP? You mean PVC!! You will kill yourself! " how much do you think this volume of psi valve will explode cork in your face?!?!?"
Sigh...

Friction fit? Definitely not good for high pressure, I had many problems keeping the breech of my single barrel shotgun shut at 10 bar.The breeches are friction fit rubber to rubber, but a bit rough now. I'll work on improving it. The black block underneath the barrel is a snap-on brace wich locks the barrels in place.

You might have missed the fact that this is meant for nerfdarts:
In a metal version, with a metal hinge, I could get an airtaight metal to metal seal.
I've made it before.
It's definately not airtight...but the darts are too fast anyway.I'll be adding a safety pop-off tomorrow so my kid won't push it too far

I apologise for doublebarr..posting..
Made a 100% airtight breechseal.
I heated a section of PVC pipe and flattened it out.
The rubber hose sections are pressed over two inserts wich sit firmly in the valve. The flat PVC is glued to the rubbers and two holes transfer the pressure to the nerfs.
The rubber gives the PVC section some flex.
When the barrels come down they press the PVC sheet harder onto the rubber and it's all nice and airtight.
The PVC to PVC seal makes opening and closing the barrels easy and smooth.
I cut down two Nerfdarts so they would survive getting pressed into the tightfitting barrels.
I let my son demonstrate the gun to my wife so she'd know it's safe to use,..
Ahem..
He cocked back that hammer a bit too happily and BLAM!!
Two cats and one dog ran for cover...( because of the sound, they were safe)I've heard of scaredy cats..but a dog?
She still okayed it though... all in all it's just a nerfdart.Way more bark than bite..

Too hide my boys identity on the web I whited out the vid and removed the sound of the last shot as he said something during the shot.
He's 10 so I need to protect him.
His 3rd shot clearly shows a hit...

Pressure used : about 2.5 bar -wich was enough for 4 shots.

Actually without color the nerf darts really looks like shotgun shells
If the reload is smoother it would be great.

Muchos gracias amigo..
Did I mention this thing is killer on liquid butane/propane mix??
No reg needed!
I got almost limitless supply of these expired nailgun cartridges.
We sell them and they are thrown away as they can't be sold anymore.
They still hold their pressure though..
Wich is all I need....no combustion...
Basically it's a greengas gun now.
One filling gives me 40 + consistent shots.
A single cilinder can fill the gun over and over...haven't emptied the first one after 4 complete fills...still liquid inside.
Just press the hose onto the cilinder to refill the gunbody..
Also made a little slugholder..
More for looks than anything.
My wife wants me to make it look more like a toy..
Need some flourescent paint....

you should pain the tips that's it. also you should make a sanding dowel and have your son ream the loading ports so that they are slightly larger.
when life gives you lemons... make root beer and leave the world wondering how you did that
