Everyone is going to think I'm lying, but this is the honest to gods truth. I'm on cablelynx in Arkansas. I'm suppose to get 500/256 kbps but I get around 3750 down /850 up. About a year ago my modem got hit by lightning and when I got a replacement from the cable company my speed was super fast. It has been around this speed for over a year and they haven't caught it yet!
Im on dail up and only get like 5kbs on downloads. DSL where I live is like 26$. So im holding down the speed with my 10$ Wal Mart Connect. I heard on the radio a few times for DSL being 12$ in LA... You now how there is bootleg cable (TV kind)? Isnt there bootleg cable internet?

I used to have 28.8 kbs dial-up, but it was so crappy, only half the time did it connect at 28.8, it was usually lower sometimes even by half. Now I'm hooked up on Mstar Metro net Utopia stuff up to 10 mbps . The only problem is that it is the same company as the dial-up and so I don't think that it ever runs at 10 mb, but it's good. I think it is sometimes too fast for my computer because it only has 256 mb of ram.

lol kinda got off topic....just a little. A easy spud gun its a combustion one, great for beginners, real easy to make, and maintain. mine costed me like...$20 at home depot, and $5 coleman lantern starter at wal-mart. if you need instruction just ask ill give you a simple lay out.
...i have a wireless DSL connection from another computer, its nothing special, real cheap, i get 22 Mb/sec . if im playing a game online with the wireless, every like 5-7 mins it will kinda ...flicker, i will lag for a second then everything will be okay.

Yes, sorry about that. I try not to engage in the off-topic conversations, but I occasionally screw up.
Anyway, a combustion is one of the simplest cannons you can build.
However, a pneumatic isn't much more complicated or expensive (other than actually requiring pw fittings and pipe, but you <i>should</i> use those on a combustion anyway) than a combustion, especially if you use a ball-valve.
I don't really get the newbs obsession with simple cannons though.
I mean, my first cannon used a 2" diaphragm valve... it's not really that hard to do, and the only thing experience with combustions or simpler pneumatics will help you with is the solvent welding. (which you had to learn to do the simpler cannons anyway!)

i think a ball valve pnuematic gun would be the simplest
why? because, it is the only one that HAS TO WORK EVERYTIME, there can be NOTHING wrong with it.
