This effort of mine was pretty protable, I never tweaked the magazine for reliable feeding but still.

There are plenty of other "alternative" designs like this one that will give you efficient semi-auto without 27,093 reciprocating pistons and check valves, most of the time there's always a simpler way of doing things and in my view this is the ideal.

Of course you're free to disagree and prove all the naysayers wrong my making a working prototype :)

ill still go for the one i made, ill probably be dun in late spring due to school, but the free access to the welding and saw equipment will be useful. i know i can get it done with their machines! ill post it with damage shots when im finished.

yeap, I totally agree.... sorry about my previous posts

Though this pretty much sums it up
it's just that it seems a little weird to want to eat soup with chop sticks when there's spoons around
You're the guy who has to build this sh..

Not to sound like a dick but this is really the simplest way to achieve semiauto... 3 way valves are normally used to fill and then vent something (for example an air cylinder).... QEVs/piston valves have to be first filled and then vented (note - QEVs are normally used to improve venting time of single acting air cylinders)

If you take this into consideration you'll see that this is really the simplest and most reliable way to build a semi automatic gun
(again note that I am just the guy who realized that this design is pretty damn cool and mentions it all the time (I don't remember exactly who was first)... the first person who build a gun like that on SF was not me but PVC_arsenal or btrettel... ohh and the credit goes to ragnarok (IIRC) as he was the first who proposed something it)
Children are the future
