Effectivly, I'm french. I'm making my training course in Swiss and they are totally crazy there. For example, they want us to install a sonor wave absorber if wr want to make expieriences producing explosions detonations or this kind of effects.... we used hear plugs and isolating helmets but they said it's not enough. I just wanna say LOL

Ah. OK. Sounds like the word you're looking for is "safety equipment."

"Security" would be guys with guns guarding the tunnel to make sure no unauthorized people were there or something.

"Safety" in Spanish: seguridad

"Safety" in French: sécurité

"Safety" in Italian: sicurezza

Easy mistake to make if your native tongue was Latin based and English was a second language.
