Golf ball tees for ammo?
I want to make a long (for a pistol) coax pneumatic piston gun. Im trying to find good cheap ammo and i looked at my golf tees and thought, hmm, maybe those could be used and would drag stabilize as long as the barrel is long enough. I wondering if anyone has tried using wooden golf tees as ammo before, or thinks they would work? I would probably use 1/2" cpvc because the fit looks half decent and it is cheap. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for a good cheap ammo in the half inch range, that'd be great.

I'm going to be negative here, that's not a half decent fit, it's a terrible one.
Also, with the shaft unsupported *stifles chuckle* it could leave the muzzle in any direction.
So, poor efficiency and poor accuracy. Not the best choice.

Belt theory: if it's not tight enough, move it to the next holeNick481 wrote:Yeah its not a very good fit, but it can't always be tight can it?
Also, you're looking for something cheaper than marbles? Are they carved from unobtainium in your part of the world?
