Most compressors you would find won't go higher than 120-150PSI. If you want 600PSI, search the forum for topics about fridge compressors. There are many, many topics here on fridge compressors so don't go and make your own topic asking us how to make one. First, actually get a fridge compressor. Second, read pertinent topics on how to wire your fridge compressor and connect pipes and what not. Third, well there probably isn't a third but if you need help at this stage you can make a topic and ask us.

I wouldn't recommend diving in to 600PSI straight away either. I've been doing this for years and I'd be quite apprehensive about going that high without first knowing that everything is safe.

Fini. :D

Image

Feeding the booster 1000psi from my N2 setup, it fills the reservoir of my AT44 to 200bar in 12 strokes. Feeding 1500psi fills to 200bar in 6 strokes. These were from empty, but the feed pressure bleeds through the checks and pre-fills the reservoir and lines to the feed pressure less cracking pressure of the discharge check.

Feeding it 100psi is WAY too slow to be practical, but it WILL top up the AT44 (100bar to 200bar)...in 5-6 minutes.

I did try feeding it 500psi and that wasn't "too" bad. Have to look hard at an ac compressor.

Need to get on ebay and order a slide valve....REALLY need to do that.

Noice! You really need to automate it though. I would suggest a solenoid valve as opposed to a slide vale, if you have a circuit switching valves for you then the slow rate of the 100 psi feed is no longer an issue.
