Hi, I saw this "HyConn" quick disconnect fitting at the Shark tank tv show, and I thought that it would make awesome fitting for loading projectiles directly to barrel and maybe it could even be used for FAST changing of burst discs !
They say it's tested at 1000psi for over 1000 cycles, I think it qualifies for spudgun use :D (you could use the smaller aluminum home edition for small barrel sizes)

Oh, and here it is http://hy-conn.com/

The big one also looks very cool with the black color and the handles

*Only bad thing is the cost for the large one, and no middle range thread sizes

EDIT: you can make one if you have the tools: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/20100244435.pdf :D

Hmmm... looks like a bayonet type connector, unless I'm missing something.

Also, in the video where they show the "traditional" type of hose connection, it's nothing like I've ever seen, every fire course I've ever been on uses Storz type couplings.

You dont need to have female and male connectors for this one, it connects directly to normal threads.. I edited the post and put a link to patent images ;)

Ahhhh... so the female threaded fitting is in parts, which expands to allow the male fitting in then tightens around it.

70 for even the small model... Ridiculous. They must be hand made by the inventor himself to be priced like that.
