Hey boys and girls, I'm building a new more manageable single port valve compared to the Obesity Valve on the Alpha Unit. It will have 2" high flow piston type valve that opens as fast as a diaphragm valve but will have a recoil chamber so it doesn't break like the Alpha Unit did, and will have either autococking or push button recocking of the valve, as long as i can afford the parts Simplicity and function were the objectives so I made the valve to open itself with a little nudge of the valve made so by a lever and cable. The single 2" port will go to a 4" sch 80 tank with a constant air hookup to an external source. And if i have enough loot there's going to be a bolt type loading system for tennis balls with a vertical gravity hopper. Here are some preliminary pictures minus the 4" pipe. They will be available for sale, so email me if you might be interested. It's definitely the highest flow valve out there blacktideao@hotmail.com

I'd like to give an update to the new valve project. I've decided to eliminate all the problems with the old version of my valve design which include: occasional blowby of o-rings, broken end cap, hand valve reset, too complicated to fire and inconsistent, leaks, etc. This version has no orings, gas spring recoil chamber, pneumatic valve reset, constant air feed for air compressor for continuous firing, regulator to control tank pressure with safety blowoff valve and incoming and tank pressure gages. It's 95% done, just waiting for the threaded adapters for 3", 2.5" and 2" interchangable barrels. I went with a single 4" x 5' fill tank to keep it compact. I came up with a way to polish the inside of the barrels to get rid of that stupid ripple, so they are now smooth bore. It just got it's first coat of paint and tomorrow there should be some nice airbrush flames on it. I'll be posting more pics soon! I think this one costs 3 times more than the other one but it's so badass and bulletproof! I think it's gonna shoot a potato a half a mile, maybe more in the small barrel.
