i was wondering when reassebling the sprinkler valves should i leave in the springs or remove them? i dont see what good they would do besides closing the valve when the pressure is low enought that the springs decompress. would you even notice the loss of this small amout of pressure? also should i try and go through the pain of removing the twist adjusters on the main plate of the valve or just leave them? i was just gonna leave them but i wasnt sure.

the gun is a dual 3" chamber with dual 1" valves empting into a 1.5" barrel. any other question about the gun welcomed. it is my second cannon and i am pretty anixious about firing it. i get to bring it into physics to show off gotta love small schools.

Leave the springs in. When you mod the valves you can connect both hoses into one blowgun (you might already know that). You can leave the "twist adjusters". Nice gun! Perhaps a side view of the cannon? When you finish defintly post some damage pics and tell us how it works. If I brang that to physics I would get arrested! How did you connect the barrel to that 90 elbow? Was there already a factory outlet there or did you tap the barrel into the side of the elbow? Looks nice besides the fact that its a MONSTER!

yea i was gonna hook both of the hoses into one release valve of some sort. the town i live in doesnt really have a good hardware store. we have an ace but its pretty small a nd does offer what i want so it might take another week or so to get all the fittings and hose. the elbow does have a factor outlet in it. my physics teacher is in love with these things. for the first week of school we just shot off spudguns then calculated hot high fast and all that. pretty fun. i will upload some other pics of this gun.

one more question i was looking aroudn the internet and i can't seem to find like 4 or 5 feet of pressure hose 200 psi+ is it possible to buy pressure hose without gettin 25 or 50 feet of it since i only need 4 or 5 feet.
thanks

whole gun. little over 6 foot. there is a nail driven into the barrel to keep spuds from goin to far down the barrel. i havnt seen that in mainy .,..or well any other guns. i will wrap duct tap around it in 3 or 4 place (mainly for looks ) but to als

this is the 2 chambers 3 inch other one has a pressure gauge and the other has a shrader valve from a truck tire in it. they will be connected with pressure hose.

You should be able to buy air compressor hose at ace by the foot. How high of PSI do you plan putting in? Im guessing but when you said "i can't seem to find like 4 or 5 feet of pressure hose 200 psi+" are you expecting to reach pressures of 200 PSI? If I were you I wouldnt go any higher than 120 PSI because you risk having parts on your gun fail.

Note to me78569: I edited your post because you triple posted. Simply go back and press EDIT when you want to reply but no has yet.

yea i wouldnt think of going over 120 i start to get nervious at 90.but yea just for a buffer zone i would like 200 psi. the ace here doesnt sell by the foot. but they do have some stuff like 10 feet for 5 dollras so i think i will go with that. sorry bout the triple post i didnt relieze there was a edit button. but yea it should be firing by friday so i will update when i can.

lucky! yor physics teacher let you shoot spudguns! once at our school,a kid brought one of those stupid model rockets from wal-mart to demonstrate for a report.the principal, being her stupid self, ran outside just as he was about to fire it off, acting like it was a bomb.she is such a #^@@~!% &*!`-@&!
