Thats how I how made my old spud cutter, and I have messed up my palm doing so, but it works great when you add a twist motion while you cut

Yea I tested it on a tater and then went over the dull parts to ensure maximum potato-cutting potential. Haha. Now I just need to paint the cannon to get rid of that hideous purple crap around the joints. I'm thinking silver with blue streaks. Any input?
