I noticed that just spraypainting a spudgun makes it all.. SHINY.. any simple way I can have mine in matt? wanna plan all tis out before i build my first and ultimate. :lol:

You can buy matt spray paint, i am not sure how shiny it is.

DuraCoat: A bit pricey but WELL worth the investment, search the net for a starter kit.

If you want a cheap alternative use “extra flat – camouflage” spray paint available from Advance Auto Parts. Limited to color selection.


Note: The spray paint will scratch off PVC even if you “rough” it up a bit.

Ok.. i was thinking about using flat olive drab or flat black anyway.. thanks guys!! :D

I know I use the flat black and olive camo paint for my guns. U can get the Krylon paint to help reduce scratches (after the 7 days of course) but havn't tested its scratch resistance vs normal paint. I found the paint on bottom shelf at my local wallyworld.

i use regular $7 cans of matt black spray paint. Personally mine do get scratched a little but i think it adds to the effect, gives it some "character" as we call it here.
