Forget buying a new ipod, unless you really want an ipod touch or new "classic" or nano. I know how you can get your ipod back.

When you purchased an iPod, apple registered your ipod serial number with your purchase, credit card, and name. Whenever someone purchases songs in itunes, apple records their name, credit card, and... the serial number of the ipod they are uploaded to. This also can happen (in certain situations) when the ipod is only connected to a computer.

So - If someone ever connects your ipod to a computer (and they WILL, in order to charge it or get a new song), Apple knows where your ipod is.

Man, you are lucky I am a ipodmodder and a spudgunner. Rare combination indeed. 8)

Contact Apple, punish iPod stealer. Simple as that!

And- no tip at home depo, or any non-restraunt.

its not required but it is rude not too in most places.
I usually tip 16% of my bill if the service is good.

Non- restaunt. Anything but a restraunt. And yeah, even at a restraunt where you are served by a waiter you do not NEED to tip, but it becomes ackward if you don't.

The waiter just stands there and "ahem"s.

Actually our currency is made of cotton I believe.
it feels like paper when new, but after going through circulation for a while it will become slightly more textured and softer.
Do you understand how our system works?

Um, dude, they are paper.... Well rag paper anyways... You don't have to tip anywhere, but in restaurants it is polite to do so. 15% is considered the norm, and 20% if you want to be nice. But yeah, can't go wrong with 16%.

I feel like a noob for asking this, but what do you use a QEV for anyways?

Oh yeah, and McClendons has 3" and 4" pipe and fittings too... I'm not sure if they are in CA though... I know that they are in Washington, both in Renton and in West Seattle. But that doesn't help you much if your not there lol... But if you happen to come to Seattle... They have fittings for about $2 apiece for 3", and $3 apiece for 4".

EDIT: Oh yeah, and when you go to San Fransisco, make sure to go to chinatown... its just interesting! And while your at it, get some smokebombs, stinkbombs, and some other weird pyrotechnic devices!

EDIT EDIT: Yes, and make sure you go to In and Out burger... the best burgers at fast-food place you will ever find!!

Usually people only tip in restaurants, and that's usually 15-17% of their meal.

Oh, and btw, don't worry about tipping at a fast-food place, unless you are at starbucks, then it is just polite to do so, although many people don't at starbucks.

System? Like what 1c coin, 5c coin, dime, quater, half cent, $1 note etc
Yeah I know all that, if not i'll learn. I'll be using mostly notes anyway

Convert as much money as you can to pennies (1c) and nickles (5c) and pay for stuff with those. It's always amusing.

Especially when you dump about 30 coins onto the counter for the mean old Filipino lunch lady to count out.

WTF??? Don't do that!!!! Btw, there isn't any half cents here... We actually have considered getting rid of the penny because of all the copper it consumes...

I can only testify to the part about in and out. (best burgers ever, live next to one)

people are paid wages. its just courtesy to tip.

and the penny is worth more in it's copper weight than the actual representative value of the coin.

and yes, cash (green stuff) is just a note of paper that is representative of what the world uses as currency. (gold)

Yes apple knows where your ipod is, but they will never do a damn thing for you. it's best you go plead your case at an apple store. and If you get a new one, go ahead, the next gen. isn't due for a long time. thats was the first change in two years and unfortunately sent the stock down. alot.

making people count your change is fun, provided you don't like them. that's like going to chuck e cheese with XXXXX tickets or so and saying I want as many of that item that costs three tickets as possible.

Hello from LA! Can't talk for long, just saying hi, it's f*cking great here, very different to NZ and the meals are HUGE! People here are very friendly unlike what I had been told, i'm of in search for as best buy and a few hardware stores. Im in Anaheim btw.
