Or it could go all the way to 5000 PSI! (sarcasm) Just because it is untested doesn't meant that it can't still go pretty high.. and as everyone has said, keep it around 70-80 PSI, and it will be fine

that coupling really is NSF-PW. stamped right on it. and yes it is a short socket coupling. it used to be fired very regularly with 200psi, now only 120psi. but nice try

A short socket fitting is pretty much the definition of a DWV fitting. I wouldn't trust it, but it's not my problem.
