I always thought they would be green
as to this idea.. I would not recommend doing it. Despite it seeming like a cool idea.. it is illegal. and since you include the site name, reprecussions could come to PCGUY.
"Some say his pet elephant is pink, and that he has no understanding of "PG rated forum". All we know is, he's called JSR. "
i personally dont think its a good idea, maybe just a card or something would be better, but then i still dont really like the idea of people doing it in Australia because might aslo bring its existence to the attention of people that are against that kind of thing
why make it if it dosent shoot?
Then again, perhaps it would attact a heap of the k3wl equivilent in the spudgun world.
Like I said, those who are against spudguns would look at the PVC. Generally those who use steel or brass would be better members anyway. (I'm biased though)

Would be cool if an initiative between Spudfiles and Home Depot was made where we drafted a safety flyer that Home Depot could put up in their plumbing sections to warn people about buying the right pipe and fittings, glues and primers and general safety procedures for when building and shooting spudguns.
"Spudgun Safety...brought to you by Spudfiles.com"
Don't think such a large retailer would be interested though
Edit: Home Depot could benefit from this as people who would have bought DWV pipe and fittings would end up buying the more expensive pressure rated stuff and perhaps also buy primer when previously they wouldn't have thought to do so.

I don't think associating spudfiles with a particular plumbing establishment is the best of ideas, especially in countries where undue attention to the forum could be harmful to current members. Most US spudders make no secret of their location so if there is a spudfiles member in your area, you probably know anyway.
I do however like the idea of alternative ways of promoting the forum. Perhaps along with a quest for long range we should also focus on carrier-type projectiles

All to easy to think, but in my area, I think I would have DHS and FBI at my door step if I did that....

Member map, feel free to add your location (roughly) and check out if you have spudders anywhere near you.
As to the stunt, I think it was pretty cool
