Oh gotcha
To my knowledge, there is no way, other than to type VERY specific search terms. The search function is no google, which, by the way, might be a good option. Google has found me some topics that the search function didn't.

You can get up to 5 per post, and you can purchase things like signatures and titles in the store.

300 spudbux for a signature and 1200 to customise your title under your avatar.
The signature ability is yours forever but thats 1200 EVERY time you want to change your title.
Just hang around for half a year and you'll have both with just a few posts a day.

The avatar ability is yours anyway, you get the option to use a custom avatar picture from the start.
Rank is essentially irrelevant, it's defined solely by what "Post count" band you fit in. Anyone between X and Y posts will be a Z, if they have no custom title.
Post count ain't that important either to be frank. A high number generally indicates the person knows their stuff, but it's no guarantee, and importantly, the converse should not be assumed.
Frankly, just ignore rank, and pay post count only the most cursory of glances. A much better rule tends to be the better the post writing quality, the more likely it is to be accurate.
Not hard and fast of course, but usually posts with no punctuation or capital letters and a whole heap of "txt spk" and/or spelling/grammar mistakes has a pretty high chance of containing inaccurate information, so any post like that should be taken with a pinch of salt.
You're already off to a good start, you're writing coherently (Although your capitalisation is sometimes missing) - in my experience, people like you are usually a great addition to a forum.
Welcome aboard.

You basically described the posting habits of 90% the people on one of the paintball forums I frequent...Ragnarok wrote:...Not hard and fast of course, but usually posts with no punctuation or capital letters and a whole heap of "txt spk" and/or spelling/grammar mistakes has a pretty high chance of containing inaccurate information, so any post like that should be taken with a pinch of salt...
Try having in intelligent conversation with that crowd...

Dang, Rag, your slippin'
Indeed!- in my experience, people like you are usually a great addition to a forum.
Welcome aboard.
As for searching: When you do an advance search there's a list of forums that you can search, it's in the "Search Options" section, from there you can select the different showcases.
I think you'll find it's you're.judgment_arms wrote:capitalization

And for your point, I spelt it right for me - in British English, it's spelt with an S, not a Z. :tongue3:
That paintball forum sounds like it's got to be tricky to get an understandable (and accurate) answer.
When I moderate other forums, we get people like that through every now and again, and we can usually smack some grammar into them by the time the next one comes along so we're not handling more than a couple of lazy typists at the same time.
A pretty insightful person once observed that posting ability generally lines up consistently a person's building ability and knowledge.
It's far more important than post count. Well written and researched first posts will instantly get you some good credit in a forum.

Tried to educate them, only made their spelling worse... and the word-censor had to work overtime...That paintball forum sounds like it's got to be tricky to get an understandable (and accurate) answer.

It was pretty funny, they kept on answering the original question by saying "bc you a idot"...

Who was that, You?
It's a bad sign when you start talking about yourself in the third person
