Pyromaniac, I'm not only saying that a 4"x10" chamber will outpreform a 2"x40" chamber (as that's expected anyways - the fat chamber, given the same number of ignition points, burns the fuel and reaches it's peak pressure faster)

...but that the fat chamber will outpreform the skinny chamber, even if the skinny chamber burns the fuel just as fast. (which would require about 2-4 times as many spark gaps)

...this is because the gas in the fat chamber doesn't have to flow as fast as the gas in the skinny chamber.
