well, yes you are right, but i see the same risk in using PVC pipe, even if it is pressure rated it could still explode.

but, anyway on-topic, i dont think it needs to wireless, phone or cat-5e cable wire is cheap, get lots of it

I think that I will just stay with the network cable for right now. Like sandman said I could get any length to be farther away, I don't think that I need to, but you never know. I was just throwing idea's around to see what I could do. An Aussie mind never stops thinking thats why were so smart. :) I will have to work out a plan of attack for the wireless remote control if I use the idea. But for right now I think that the Cat-5 network wire will work for now. I was also thinking of using a kit that they use on the keyless entry system to intergrade with my remote, I just don't know if that will work or not.

well, yea i guess you could use one of those garage code openers with the number pad

well, do tell when you use it with how much success you have

No Problem, I will let you all know when I finish the wireless remote but till then, I'm going to have some fun trying to figure out how to do this and how to get it to work properly.

well, soon ill be building a model rocket launch controler, so maybe when we are both done we can exchange ideas

Sounds like a good idea mate let me know. I'm trying to figure out my idea as we speak, ebay is a wonderful place to find anything.
