A few months ago, I asked for help in regards to outfitting a simple spray N' pray to defeat some friends of mine in a competition. The response was outstanding, and I am proud to say that we defeated our foes handily.

Not only did we defeat them, but it has been documented on video. This video was part of our Senior scholar's project which explains the connection to philosophy and Plato. The first video in the three part series can be seen at:

EDIT: Part 1 IS NOW WORKING

Thanks to everyone for your help.

P.S. at the beginning of Part 2 there is a shout out to SpudFiles.

Wait, so you managed to coherently speak about potato guns and Plato in the same writing? Impressive. Let us know when the video works again.

Part 2 is working though.

It won't make much sense, but the Spudfiles shout out is on there.

Good job there. Leaving the fan running during firing is an effective way to mix fuel as well as create a turbulent (and therefore faster propagating) flamefront. I'm assuming that using propane/MAPP, oxygen enrichment, or precompressed gas mixes was out in this contest, am I correct?

Of course, if someone challenged me to a contest like that, I'd have to find a way to get stoichiometric oxy/acetylene into a spray bottle...

The shout-out needed more bling, girls and wads of cash thrown around but otherwise very philosophical, nicely done :)
