After reports of a man standing on a balcony and firing a gun, RCMP emergency response team members were ready for anything after storming into a home near 96A Avenue and 161th Street in Surrey Friday night. But it turned out the man merely had a potato gun.

NINJA ATTACK

A family on Vancouver's west side were in for a frightening and bizarre surprise when their home was attacked by a samurai sword-wielding man in a ninja suit Saturday night. The camouflaged man tried to break in twice before police arrived and arrested the intruder.

Wow, that is an awesome town, ninjas and spudguns. They should team up, a ninja with a spudgun would be unstoppable. Do we have any resident ninjas?
