I'm writing a book about cool things.

Hey guys, many of you may know me as a web designer but I also like stretching out my mind in other things...


So with that said I plan on writing a book that includes different innovative/cool things that one can do or make. Its pretty much a showcase of my knowledge and my attempt of spreading it to the world. A lot of this info will be about spud guns and the different ideas/projects that im working on. The book will be a mix of ideas and how-to guides on everything from spudguns, airsoft, hacking, pranks and more.

I have a table of contents already but I'm still updating and adding a lot of info to my book.

So what do you guys think of my idea? I don't really care if it sells or not or if a publisher picks it up... just wanting to spread knowledge.. I will have a free pdf version of it online when I build a website for it.

Also I was thinking about later adding online "booster packs" with more info provided by myself and others such as you guys.

So if you guys have any crazy ideas, just post them and I might put them in my book!

yeah it sounds like an anarchist cookbook doesn't it... except im not gonna have lame stuff from the early 90's in my book... Also its not so much about destruction as it is about spreading cool, helpful knowledge.

Giving credit to every person that you got a idea from mite be tough. Some where some one will contest it. There's all ways a prick in the crowd! That being said, your welcome to use any idea I have floating around here on Spudfiles, as long as it's ok with PCGUY, it's his website.....

Well considering PCGUY wanted to make this website to spread cool and helpful knowledge about spudding and other cool things I dont think he will mind me doing the same thing.. heck I could probably post a version of my book on the wiki if its okay with him.

I guess the only way to find out is to ask..

Nice title, took me a second, the first time i read it i thought you were Eastern European.

Mr. C : I Wrote a simple batch script that gets around most school website restrictions, if you have a flash drive you can plug-and-play to load a site. And David, if you would like one that's extremely simple, let me know

You're still a student? I'm willing to bet that virtually everything in your weapons section is either (a) plagarized or (b) a load of shite.

And for what it's worth: I'm convinced whomever wrote the Anachist's Cookbook was laughing his ass off HOPING somebody would try to follow the recipes. Hint: Some of them are very close to the truth but skip a key step or two... the kinds of steps that prevent you from blowing yourself up.

I think his weapons section is more about "toy" weapons, the type we make here.

If you have the drive to do it then go for it. I get the name, but for those that don't get it the name would be hard to remember. Something that you don't have to figure out might be a better choice.

I think the name without the trick to it is pretty good. Although you may want to change innovation to invention. I am guilty of it myself, but innovation is often misused. Innovation involves successfully developing an idea and bringing it to market. Invention is just coming up with new ideas. At least that is the convention that some people prefer. I guess you could argue otherwise depending on what definition you looked at.
