I'm not going to be doing any hardcore spudding for the next month or two, and I've put most of my projects on hold. Due to the disappearance of the annual contest, I don't really have any goal to work towards, and due to a random act of malice by my former boss, I don't even have enough funds coming in to work on projects that are already started.

The Kart will continue, as I wasn't the primary money source for it, but the design has been scaled down so that it only requires 30kg of N2O per run, rather than 120kg. This may also run over it's originally planned timeframe now, but we're all too determined now to give it up, regardless of what happens.

I do have one project that will continue at a slow rate over the winter. It has currently fired 3 shots, and has required a full refit after each. My goal for the winter is to get it working reliably, consistently, and without blowing itself to bits after every shot as it has tended to so far, as well as making it capable of higher mixes (50x would be nice  ).

The ETC project will continue (but I can't talk about it in detail here for obvious reasons). Actually, creating a decent fuel for it and machining it's body from 3" aluminum bar is going to be my main distraction for the winter, as the other project doesn't have any realy intensive work involved.

I'm not disinterested or uninspired, my problem is more the opposite - all of my projects required quite a bit of money to complete, and that money is suddenly gone. Summer jobs here are plentiful, but finding a winter job after the school year is begun...

I'll still be on here, I just won't be able to post any of my projects for quite a while yet.

That stinks. I'm sure most (if not all) the people on this forum appreciate your contributions to this site. Keep in touch though.

Funny, kind of the opposite job situation where I live.

Welp, anyways, good luck with securing some funding.
