Also note the cannon pointing (before firing) in the vague direction of his family holding the camera.

Yes,..this guy is an idiot..
But I don't get the " haha" when we should be promoting the safe use of spudguns.
It's rather sad when people treat spudguns with so little respect.
Oh well..at least he didn't get badly hurt..

three reasons i hope this is a future darwin award winner
he put the igniter in the endcap, the weakest part of the gun and then set it down on it.
He had the gun pointed at those taking the video(presumably his family)
he posted or allowed his family to post this video

Thats kinda funny, but i do agree with Brian the brain, we should be promoting the safe use of spudguns. Also, if it was loaded and he did launch a potato in the air it wouldn't be funny if it hit something valuable. (Well it kinda would be to us )

This video made me really want an iPad. I love the fact that he used a plastic cap instead of a cleanout plug

Natural selection at its finest
I wonder how long it will take for us to replace all the stupid spudgun "myths" out there on the internet. Mainly the whole "Sch 40 = pressure rated" thing and a strict warning that you can't use super glue instead of PVC glue or such.
