I'm not new to potato cannons, but recently i've been wanting to find some information on spud gun competitions. Well Started surfing a little bit (of all the things i've ever looked up on the internet for some reason it never occurred to me to look up tater cannons) and i found a plethora of information about updated designs, fuel metering, mixture ratios, compression ratios, high voltage ignites. All in all i do feel like i'm in a brand new world all over again.

Anyways i've been searching around a few things on this site and i've found a home i think. There's so much this site has already shown me. It's Amazing, it's like i'm a little kid in a candy store with $100 dollars and my parents are missing during a %50 off sale. There's not enough time in the day for me to spend here.

Thank you for clearing that up.. :D

I think just about every member feels like this at first.
I sure did.
Although in my case I'm missing those 100 bucks while my parents are about 50% off...

The only official meetings are IPLA meets.
It depends on the locations and local legality if you could actually fire some spuds there legally or that it...like... never happened..
I've never been to an IPLA meet, not much of a swimmer myself so I don't keep track of these events..

(Reaching the U.S. across open water seems like a bit of a challenge from this side of the pond..)

The only thing I know is that I've never heard of a spud-competition other than an online one.

Welcome to the site
