how simple do you want it the most being a ball valve a coca cola bottle couple of fittings and what ever size barrel you want. accuracy is easy to achieve at close/mid rage. butt nowhere near accurate at long range. there is several YouTube vids you can watch this is the first ever one i saw and made.

and this one

hpe this helps a little.

Do you want a single shot launcher or a semi auto?

What barrel diameter did you have in mind?

What pressure were you planning on using?

What's your budget?

aha cheers :)
price: 50-100$
barrel diameter 6 mm for bbs or one that fits pellets nicely
single shot muzzle load
Unsure on psi want to have good range was thinking round 150-200?
Also i am pretty clear on how the ebay qev's work and how everyting joins together, but need help with the vairous fittings and stuff. i dont have a very good knowledge of what sizes and stuff are available, for examle say a qev's oulet is 17mm what fittings do i need to go from 17mm to the 6mm barrel?
Thanks again :)

Unfortunately the chinese sellers don't label them correctly. Most of them use standard BSP fittings, you can usually recognise then from their size - for example 13mm usually means 1/4" BSP.

Let's see, this would be my suggestion using standard parts. In many cases, I would use epoxy though.

This QEV: http://www.ebay.com/itm/QE-02-Pneumatic ... 27d4f0900f

A 1/4 elbow to fit in the pilot area of the valve: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-BSP-Elbow-M ... 3a6a13b8d5

This blowgun fits into the elbow: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-AIR-BLOW-GU ... 230ee1aa92

This schrader fits in the other end of the blowgun: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-Brass-Chrom ... 4ac60ab36e

Technically the above is 1/8 NPT while the blowgun is 1/8 BSP but with a bit of encouragement they will fit. Otherwise you can look for a 1/8 BSP schrader but these seem to be more expensive on eBay.

I would then remove the internal stem in the schrader. When filling, you will need to keep the blowgun pressed.

As a chamber, using standard fittings, you could get a 1/4 to 1/2 reducer to connect to the QEV: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-1-2-Male-x ... 3cbb713711

A 1/2 elbow to connect with the reducer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/304-Stainless-S ... 3f110bd982

And a 1/2 plug to seal it off: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-Male-Pipe-T ... 3f23cdda61

For the barrel, I would get a 3/8 nipple and epoxy it to the breech, which then screws into the QEV: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-Screwed-N ... 1c34805d85

This is if you go down the standard part route. For this one, I made the chamber using PVC pipe, sealed off on both ends with epoxy endplugs, with a 1/4 nipple in one of the plugs to allow it to be screwed into the QEV.

is there a way to have it fill somewhere else in stead of the blow gun as i would like to make a wooden stock for it like this one http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/my-seco ... 23508.html
and have the same trigger setup.
would i just use a T join thing one end to quev one to the fill valve and one to the pilot?

Yes - but tees are mostly all male or all female, in your case the QEV and Blowgun need a male connection but the schrader needs a female one - so I see either reducers or more epoxy in your future ;)

Was thinking something like this?

Also thanks so much jackssmirkingrevenge you have made it to easy for me :)
One last thing if i do use a T connector thing how will i join each of the parts to it?
Thanks again Mason

Yep, that makes sense :)

For the sake of making it easier to buy parts, the "corner join" is referred to as an "elbow".

Er... you screw them together? Don't forget you will need thread tape or thread sealant to make it airtight.

Yeah but can you link me that parts to connect the parts to the "T" as you said i will need adapters, also if you could link the right sized "T" that would sweet :)

This is the tee: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-3-ways-1-4 ... 20c8eac339

You would then need a reducer like this to be able to fit the schrader: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-Pipe-Fema ... 7f&vxp=mtr

In the above case you will be trying to mate the 1/4 BSP make tee with the 1/4 NPT reducer, they're not the same thread but with a bit of force and epoxy you will have a good enough join. That's what I say, this is the advice you should listen to ;)
While NPT threads are common in the United States, BSP threads are widely used in many other countries.

WARNING: Never, never try to mate a BSP fitting with an NPT or NPS fitting if the pressure holding capability is at all critical.

NPT/NPS and BSP threads are not compatible due to the differences in their thread forms, and not just the fact that most diametrical sizes have a different pitch. NPT/NPS threads have a 60° included angle and have flattened peaks and valleys (this is a Sellers thread form); BSP threads have a 55° included angle and have rounded peaks and valleys (this is a Whitworth thread form).

Okay so epoxy and brute force all joins that the threads dont match, Teflon tape all that do and epoxy the nipple to the end of the barrel. Also what epoxy would you recoment I have some clear stuff that I have used 2 part stuff in tubes you mix and it dries like strong glass is that sutiable? And what would be the best thing to make the air chamber tank from and how big?
Cheers
