Epoxy Question

I am fitting my custom made end caps, adapters, and so on in aluminum tubes. This is on mini sized stuff so far. Should I make the parts a snug fit or do I need to keep it looser to allow more epoxy in the joints?

Snug fit, snug enough that they have to be hammered in if possible. Remember to rough up the contact surfaces with coarse sandpaper or a file.

Thanks. Good to know as that is what I have been doing. I wondered because with clamped wood joints there was some danger of glue starved joints with too much clamping force. I think that was due to the wood soaking up the epoxy so I guess that wouldn't apply to metal joints.
