I like that design, but wouldn't the weight of the barrel put too much stress on the barrel reciever, causing it to break. I don't think it would be that bad, but after a while the joints may start to get weaker.

It probally would depending on what your shooting and how powerful the cannon is. The receiver and bolt would probally need to be made of some sort of steel.

well have you even seen this desing actually used if not its creative thinking but i would have to go with the joints geating weaker or it might be a little bit stronger if it were welded up from steal?

Think the Cam-Lock idea is a stronger connection and yet still quick to disassemble/assemble in my opinion.

I thoink that the weight of the barrel would cause the bolt to come up wouldnt it???
