It will work, but not very well
If you're planning to stick to the coke bottle for a chamber, you'd need a smaller bore barrel, 1st of all.
Make sure everything is nice and solid. Duct tape is strong shyte.

I'm not usually one to say anything but I would wait until the rain stopped.

How did it suck the bottle in? It should have expanded outwards, maybe your feul just burns and doesnt really explode, burning all the air.

I wouldn't have bought the camera it's very easy to get the used ones free, I just go up to the store my aunt works at in the photo devepment department and she gives them to me for free, but I'ves been to other stores where my relatives don't work and they've gave me them for free also...

You should really just buy 2" pipe, it's only like $4.50 at Home-Depot...

A Coke bottle chamber is perfectly fine....

The chamber probably sucked in because the projectile was to tight fittings and when it went foward it just made a vaccumm (sp?) or else it just used up all the air...

check on the back of the axe can, if it says propane, butane, or isobutane youre fine with it as a fuel, try blowing some air into the chamber after fueling, or waving it around

I shot little wads of paper because I was to lazy to find/make anything better, worked ok, but I was only using paperwads.

First time I tried it, the back end blew out on me. I laughed. Needed more tape.

well it didnt work to well it fired once but it didn't go any where, so we went to the hardware store and bouught a bunch of pvc pipe and fittings,so were gonna make a real cannon (im not very good with small caliber cannons)

we got all the pieces except the 4" to 2" adapter so were gonna go to the store soon, this cannon will be called "master plan #2, revision 3" (master plan #2 is giving my genius friend a tater cannon, so now im going to start master plan #3 tater cannon tank)

weve gone from a piece of crap coke bottle with cardboard tube, to full out potatoe cannon heres what weve done so far, we only need the adaptor and well almost be finished.
and heres the barrel
cant wait to get this thing done, its gonna be sweet!!

dude should made the handle by cutting a pvc tee lengthwise so you could insert the bbq for a more realistic trigger.
