You probably have either a lean or rich mix in the chamber. I suggest switching to propane metering, but if you do that you might also want to switch from coke bottles and Swiffer handles to better construction materials.

Axe sucks, maybe not in terms of performance (never used it), but its expensive and stinks like shit. Try butane or propane. Also, switch to using a grill ignitor. The idea of gluing a lighter inside the chamber seems like a very bad idea to me. Grill ignitors can be found new for around $10, or you can do what I do and just swipe them off grills people throw out in the trash. Or, use a lantern ignitor, they are pretty cheap. Stun guns and flybacks would be better, but they would be quite expensive and overkill for this application.

I'd #1 say it's your fault for not trying hard enough, every mini WILL work if there is fuel and a spark...

There has to be the right ammount of fuel in a gun for it to work, you either use metered propane or expieriment with Aerosols (sp? lol)

I made an ultra mini using a tylonol bottle and a pen. I used Naptha as my fuel, i just squirted some in, and i had enough for 3 shots.

For your bottle, use this stuff called Static Guard. It is really flammable and is very powerful. I made a mini out of a propel bottle, i shot a lead chunk through my wall. I also gave my friends bleeding welts with a airsoft load...

I use metered propane on my mini, and it works like a dream and fires every single shot with a BBQ igniter and a single spark gap. It can also put a Dum Dum lollipop through roofing tin from about 20' away.

INVEST!!!! MAKE A METER AND YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SPRAY SH** AGAIN!!!

I have a small meter pipe and a 1/2 x 12" meter pipe, both fuel from the same propane adapter and regulator. I also just made ANOTHER 1/2 x 12" meter pipe with an onboard regulating and input system, so they're not as expensive as you think...
