what if a sprinkler valve was modded with a pop-off valve, i will work like a reuseable diaphram.

I will add a picture to explain very soon...

well, it would work, though the pop off valve may not be open long enough to discharge the air above the phram

good point hadent thought of that, it would just keep equalizing and not fire, that would suck, is there a spring in the pop-off that pulls it back down, cuz if so couldnt u jsut take that out some how so the pop-off would stay open?

yeah, but if you can get it to fire when it opens, you would be able to make a semi or full auto design since when the pressure hits 125 it fires, and it'll keep doing that untill you shut off the air flow, but you'd have to have a blowgun too since when you unhook the pressure you still have about 100 psi inside of the chamber

I suddenly realized my mistake, after i posted, can u moddify the pop-off so that it is manually reset?

i think you can buy them that way, but still, it'd be cool if it would actuate with a spring in it, full auto as long as you can supply 125 psi, a method of closing off the mag, and a big tube of ammo

i dont think u sould do it with a 125psi pop-off because most sprinklers are only tested for 125 max, putting it to the max every shot couldnt be good for it, if u do try it do it with a 120psi at the most i think.

125 may be the max tested pressure, but plasticex009 has taken them hydrostatically to either 200 or 300 psi. and the toro ones are rated to 200 psi
