G'day everyone, good to find the forums still up and buisiness looks to be booming. As you may have guessed Im from the land of Aus and was a member of the spudtech forums until they were closed down years ago. Back then I went by the name "fox_shooter2" and after a quick look around the forum (very quick) I have only recognised DR and PCGUY (Hope names haven't changed ).

Just wondering if anyone else from my era is around? Will continue to look around, keep up the great work and hope to join in myself shortly

I don't know about this but wasn't D_hall on spudtech? I was browsing the forums for a week or so so I don't know.

Anyway, allways good with a new (hopefully) active member :)

Well, welcome back to the spud gun community! I used to use spudtech, but not as much as spudfiles. it was a pain to keep up on both, and important threads were often posted to both.

Thanks for the replies, good to be back and feeling welcome. I'll keep an eye out for D_Hall, think it rings a bell. To tell the truth Im finding it hard to remember many names from then. The closest contact I had with anyone was a couple of the Aussie fellas and an older American guy signed "Chewy" who passed on around the end of the Spudtech forum.

Currently I'm still deciding what to look at building, I know it'll be combustion cannon, probably metal construction as larger dia class 12 or 18 PVC fittings cost a bit here. Going for a metered fuel setup, chamber fan, breech loaded (ie coaxial), pretty much a normal intermediate design cannon at the time I left (apart from the steel construction). Wouldn't mind checking out other ignition systems too. Just thinking aloud at present, catch you around the forums later :)

Hey PCGUY, good to see your still overactive re spudgunning :D

Was looking through my old spudgun images, docs and stuff and found Boogiemans (spudtech name) combustion volume/mass calc spreadsheet. Is this the same as the Boogieman here?

As a side note, have been drawing a bit and have a design in mind, just waiting to see if it can be built without weighing too much (aka have to scrounge some appropriate materials).

The original Boogieman got married back right before SpudTech went under and I don't believe he has been around since

Unless someone else can correct me on this...
